Day 1:   Experience the delights of Walker Bay

Day 4:    Explore the “Mother City “of Cape Town 

Relish in your last morning at Grootbos Nature Reserve

Private transfer from Grootbos Nature Reserve to Cape Town, enjoying the sights along the way and spend the following 4 nights in Cape Town at the luxury Cape Grace Hotel, situated in the busy Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The Waterfront hosts a wealth of top quality shops, restaurants and entertainment

Overnight:  The Cape Grace Hotel  – Bed & Breakfast 

Day 5 – 7 :     Private Sightseeing in Cape Town 

Spend the following three days with your private tour guide  ( self-drive option is available if preferred ) exploring the top sights in Cape Town

A half day tour will take you through the city centre, with it’s historical sites and museums.  Take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain with it’s awesome views over the city centre and beyond, with Robben Island easily viewed in the distance.

One full day sightseeing will take you along the Cape Point Route,  taking you along the famous Chapman’s Peak with incredible scenic beauty and photographic opportunities like none other.  Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, as well as Boulders Penguin Beach  – home to the African penguins. Today there are over 3 000 of these birds living here and the area is now a National Park. Penguins can be viewed up close as they frolic in the water and waddle on land. Your day ends with time spent the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, nestled under the backdrop of Table Mountain

One of the highlights of your stay will be a full day spent in the Cape Winelands  – The excellent wines produced in this area are world-renowned You will be spoilt for choice between small, boutique wineries and the larger, more commercial wine estates. Taste the fruit of the vintner’s labour in the magnificent surrounds that are so characteristic of the Winelands, or join the winemaker on a tour of his cellar where the precious harvest is lovingly transformed into every wine lover’s delight.

Day 8:   Depart for your Madikwe Game Reserve Safari 

Breakfast and check out. Private transfer to Cape Town Airport and depart on a scheduled flight to Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg, you will depart on either a road transfer [ approximately 4 hours ] or an hour flight to the Malaria free  Madikwe Game Reserve. The Madikwe Game Reserve is home not only to the Big Five, but also to a wealth of other fascinating creatures, including the rare Wild Dog.

Spend the following three nights enjoying the silence of the African Bush and the incredible beauty and peace of one of the most beautiful areas in South Africa

A late afternoon game drive awaits you, in an open landrover with your experienced ranger and tracker, in search of the Big Five. Traversing over 75 000 hectares, Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is situated on a hill,  Ingeniously set amongst boulders and age-old Tamboti trees, the lodge offers visitors the utmost in luxury and hospitality, where you will find yourself enchanted by a world of intrigue and majestic beauty.

Return to your lodge in the evening in time for a hearty dinner, and the excitement of what awaits over the next few days on safari

Day 9 -10:    Madikwe Safari 

An Exceptional Safari Experience in the Madikwe Game Reserve

Explore the wonders of the African bush in state of the art open game vehicles with bucket seats and fold-down armrests ensuring your optimum safety and comfort.

Knowledgeable and professional rangers conduct early morning and late afternoon, or evening, game drives in search of Africa’s big game and smaller wildlife.

On Morning Game drives, should you be feeling energetic, you may choose to experience an up close and personal glimpse of the African bush on foot with a gentle bush walk through the bush back to the Lodge. This experience provides exceptional close encounters with the smaller inhabitants of this wilderness

Day 11:   Your African Adventure ends 

After your early morning game drive and a sumptuous breakfast, you will check out
