Day 1: Cape Town

You will be collected from Cape Town International Airport and transferred to your hotel, where you will spend 4 nights at the glorious Cape Grace Hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

Depart from your hotel for a half day sightseeing tour of Cape Town city and a visit to Table Mountain (weather dependant).

On a clear day, the distinctive shape of Table Mountain can be seen from up to 200km’s out to sea, whilst its summit provides spectacular views of the city, its waterfront and harbor below, the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains to the East and Cape Point to the South.

Day 3: Cape Town

Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard for a full day sightseeing tour of the Cape Peninsula, visit Hout Bay Harbour for the opportunity to take a boat trip to Seal Island (optional), highlights of this tour includes the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Simons Town and the Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach. The world Famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens showcasing over 6000 species of Flora which makes up the Cape’s unique floral kingdom. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon.

Day 4: Cape Town

We visit the main areas of the Winelands – Stellenbosch with its Cape Dutch Architecture, Franschhoek and Paarl – visiting award Winning Wine Estates for tastings, whilst enjoying the scenic beauty of the Winelands.

Whether it is its magnificent natural beauty, its rich cultural heritage or its world-renowned wines, the Winelands Region is synonymous with all the best that the Cape has to offer. A 45-minute drive from Cape Town brings you to this area where splendid mountains form a dramatic backdrop to lush vineyards and gabled Cape Dutch homesteads steeped in history. Come experience the hospitality and beauty of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington, Franschhoek and Pniel. The diversity of the Winelands will capture every heart.

Day 5 – 7: Garden Route – Knysna

Enjoy a full day drive from Cape Town to the beautiful Garden Route, passing quaint little towns and seaside villages. Your destination is Knysna, a vibrant seaside town, rich in history and creative arts on offer. The main street is lined with trees and trendy street cafes, a welcome sight after a long days drive.

Spend 3 nights at the magnificent Pezula resort & Spa

Africa’s first truly luxury resort, located on the Eastern Head of Knysna on the exquisite coastline of the Western Cape, is a sanctuary of privacy and indulgence created to reflect the natural beauty of its surrounds.

Enjoy your days in Knysna including visits it to the Featherbed Eco Nature Reserve and the Knysna Elephant Park, where you have the opportunity to interact with the Elephants. A visit to Monkey land Primate Sanctuary has been arranged for you to enjoy. Your experienced Tour Guide is on hand to give you more information about the various garden route activities on offer in Knysna.

During your visit on the garden route, visit the small Karoo town of Oudtshoorn; know as the feather capital of the world. Enjoy the day with a visit to the famous Cango Caves and a working Ostrich Farm where you can experience these large flightless birds close-up. End your day with a visit to the Cango Wildlife and Cheetah Ranch and possibly a dive with the crocodiles if you are feeling brave

Day 8: Departure

Today you return to Cape Town from Knysna leaving behind the Garden Route, taking with you all the fond memories.

Should you prefer, flights can be arranged from either George or Port Elizabeth Airports.
