Day 1 – Day 3: Garden Route – Knysna

Enjoy a full day drive from Cape Town to the beautiful Garden Route, passing quaint little towns and seaside villages. Your destination is Knysna, a vibrant seaside town, rich in history and creative arts on offer. The main street is lined with trees and trendy street cafes, a welcome sight after a long days drive.

Day 4: Garden Route – Oudtshoorn

After a leisurely breakfast you will be taken over the scenic Outeniqua Pass to the Little Karoo town of Oudtshoorn, know as the feather capital of the world. Enjoy the day with a visit to the famous Cango Caves and a working Ostrich Farm where you can experience these large flightless birds close-up. End your day with a visit to the Cango Wildlife and Cheetah Ranch and possibly a dive with the crocodiles if you are feeling brave.

Overnight in Oudtshoorn at Rosenhof Country House

Rosenhof Country House is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.

The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished.

Day 5: Departure

Today you return to Cape Town from Oudtshoorn after a memorable visit to the Garden Route, should you prefer a flight can be arranged from George Airport.
